BEYOND THE PICK

$0.00Price

While picking throughput rates have advanced dramatically, the processes that immediately precede and follow picking, such as inbound trailer unloading, receiving, decanting, replenishment, packing, labeling, palletizing, and staging, have too often remained reliant on manual labor or outdated mechanized systems. These “wrap around” processes on the periphery of the distribution center not only consume a significant proportion of total facility labor hours, but also directly constrain the throughput potential and realized ROI of the automated systems they feed and follow.
